PTI’s Asad Qaisar Elected Speaker National Assembly 2018-2023
Today polling held for the 21st speaker of national assembly. The special meeting of NA held at parliament house Islamabad.
After the counting of votes, PTI and allies canddiate Asad Qaisar got 176 votes.
While PPP, PMLN’s and its allied opposition candidate Syed Khurshed Shah received 146 votes.

- Syed Khursheed Shah Votes = 146
Joint opposition consist of Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz, Pakistan Peoples Party, Motahiddah Majlis e Amal and other small political parties.
While Other side was consist of Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf, Mutahiddah Qaumi Movement, Pakistan Muslim League (Q), BAP, BNP and other small parties.
Profile of Asad Qaisar
Mr. Asad Qiasar has remained speaker of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK) assembly in tenure from 2013 to 2018.
He elected MPA from PK-44 Swabi in the election 2018.
