Today by-election was held in the Punjab assembly halqa of PP 209 Khanewal. The strong contest was between two candidates from Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PMLN) and Pakistan Tehrik e Insaf (PTI).
The candidates were Chaudhry Zia ul Rehman from PMLN and Mr. Faisal Khan Niazi belonging to PTI.
