Imran Khan Jalsa Talagang – By election on provincial assembly of PP-23 Chakwal is being held in April 2017. Almost seventeen days has been left.
The final list of candidates has been issued. The main contest is between the candidates of Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PMLN) and Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI). While the Pakistan Peoples Party, Pakistan Muslim League Qauid e Azam and Jamat e Islami is supporting the candidate of PTI.

PP 23 By Election Schedule 2017
Chairman Pakistan tehreek e Insaf will come to tehsil Talagang district Chakwal on Sunday next. He will address a big jalsa e aam (public rally) in village Tehi. The candidate of Col (R) Sultan Surkhoru Awan will also address to the supporters and workers of PTI. Arrangement in this connection is underway. The candidate of PML-N Malik Shehryar Awn is also running his election campaign.
He confident to win the by election. He is nephew of late MPA Malik Zahoor Anwar Awan. This seat was declared vacant after death of the said memeber Punjab assembly in the month of February 2017.
He was buried in Lahore.

Polling for the PP-23 Talagang Chakwal will be held on Tuesday, April 18, 2017. All contesting candidate are holding corner meetings, public rallies, peoples face to face contact drives.

Strong contest is being expected between the candidates of PTI and PMLN. The by election has became very interesting after the withdrawal of candidates of PPP and PML-Q. The chance of winning of PTI or PMLN is fifty fifty (50/50). That is why prediction of result cannot be done yet.
