The Election Commission of Pakistan canceled the notification of postponement of elections in NA-83 and NA-85 Sargodha.

Hearing on petition against postponement of election in NA-83 and 85 today
DRO Sargodha told the Election Commission that I have conducted an inquiry, in which it has been proved that Sadiq Ali died on January 2. In the inquiry, the statements of Sadiq Ali’s mother, daughter, Imam-e-Masjid were recorded. Chief Election Commissioner Sikandar Sultan Raja inquired why the returning officer did not conduct an inquiry before postponing the elections.
“Now it has been proved that Sadiq Ali died on January 2, we were provided with a fake death certificate,” said returning officer NA-85.
Secretary Union Council said that we verified the number and issued the death certificate on the request of the son.
Numdar told Election Commission that my signature was forged.
On this occasion, the Chief Election Commissioner scolded the Secretary of the Union Council for interfering during the hearing and said that you are doing something wrong and coming here to discuss.
The Election Commission canceled the RO notifications of postponing the elections in the two constituencies of the National Assembly. Chief Election Commissioner Sikandar Sultan Raja directed that elections will be held in both the constituencies, the election process should be continued.

چیف الیکشن کمشنر سکندر سلطان راجہ کی سربراہی میں این اے 83 اور این اے 85 سرگودھا میں انتخابات ملتوی ہونے کے کیس کی سماعت ہوئی۔ دورانِ سماعت ڈی آر او سرگودھا اور ریٹرننگ افسران الیکشن کمیشن میں پیش ہوئے۔
ن لیگ کے امیدوار نے الیکشن کمیشن کو بتایا کہ مجھے ریٹرننگ افسر کا ایک نوٹس ملا کہ آپ کےحلقے میں امیدوار کا انتقال ہو گیا ہے، انتقال کرنے والے امیدوار کا ڈیتھ سرٹیفکیٹ 15 جنوری کا ہے، تحقیقات کرنے پر پتہ چلا کہ صادق علی کا انتقال 2 جنوری کو ہوا، 3 جنوری کو نمازِ جنازہ ہوئی، اس معاملے میں جعل سازی کی گئی ہے، 2 حلقوں میں انتخابات ملتوی کروانے کے لیے سازش کی گئی، ڈی سی سرگودھا نے معاملے کی انکوائری بھی کروائی ہے، میری درخواست ہے کہ انتخابات ملتوی نہ کیے جائیں۔
ڈی آر او سرگودھا نے الیکشن کمیشن کو بتایا کہ میں نے انکوائری کروائی ہے، جس میں ثابت ہو گیا ہے کہ صادق علی کا انتقال 2 جنوری کو ہوا، انکوائری میں صادق علی کی والدہ، بیٹی، امامِ مسجد کے بیان ریکارڈ کیے گئے۔ چیف الیکشن کمشنر سکندر سلطان راجہ نے استفسار کیا کہ انتخابات ملتوی کرنے سے پہلے ریٹرننگ افسر نے انکوائری کیوں نہیں کی؟
ریٹرننگ افسر این اے 85 نے بتایا کہ اب یہ ثابت ہو چکا ہے کہ صادق علی کا انتقال 2 جنوری کو ہوا، ہمیں جعلی ڈیتھ سرٹیفکیٹ فراہم کیا گیا تھا۔ سیکریٹری یونین کونسل نے بتایا کہ ہم نے نمبر دار کی تصدیق اور بیٹے کی درخواست پر ڈیتھ سرٹیفکیٹ جاری کیا۔
نمبر دار نے الیکشن کمیشن کو بتایا کہ میرے جعلی دستخط کیے گئے۔
اس موقع پر سماعت کے دوران مداخلت کرنے پر چیف الیکشن کمشنر نے سیکریٹری یونین کونسل کی سر زنش کی اور کہا کہ ایک تو غلط کام کرتےہو اور یہاں آ کربحث بھی کرتے ہو۔ الیکشن کمیشن کی جانب سے قومی اسمبلی کے مذکورہ دونوں حلقوں میں انتخابات ملتوی کرنے کے آر او کے نوٹیفکیشن منسوخ کر دیے گئے۔ چیف الیکشن کمشنر سکندر سلطان راجہ نے ہدایت کی کہ دونوں حلقوں میں انتخابات ہوں گے، انتخابی عمل جاری رکھا جائے۔
