Due to the death of a candidate in Sargodha, the election in two constituencies of the National Assembly has been postponed. There will be no election in Constituency NA-83 and Constituency NA-85 on February 8. The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) will announce the new date of polling in these two constituencies later.
According to the Returning Officer, Sadiq Ali was contesting the election as an independent candidate from National Assembly Constituency NA-83 and NA-85 of Sargodha.
MNA Candidate Sadiq Ali Died
Constituency elections have been postponed due to the death of Sadiq Ali, according to the returning officer, there will be no election in Constituencies NA 83 and 85 on February 8.
The new date of election will be announced later.

Leader of Muslim League-N, Mohsin Shahnawaz Ranjha, says that the death certificate issued on January 15 for Sargodha candidate Sadiq Ali’s death is fake. Mohsin Shah Nawaz Ranjha while holding a press conference along with the candidate from NA-85 in Sargodha, Dr. Zulfikar Bhatti, said that the election was postponed on the basis of the death certificate.
Mohsin Shahnawaz Ranjha says that independent candidate Sadiq Ali, resident of Chak 142 South, was suffering from cancer, independent candidate in NA 83, NA 85 Sadiq Ali died on January 2. Talking on this occasion, Dr. Zulfiqar has said that a conspiracy has been made to stop the election by raising the issue of Sadiq Ali’s death.

مسلم لیگ ن کے رہنما محسن شاہنواز رانجھا کا کہنا ہے کہ سرگودھا سے امیدوار صادق علی کی وفات کا 15 جنوری کو جاری کیا گیا ڈیتھ سرٹیفکیٹ جعلی ہے۔ سرگودھا میں این اے 85 سے امیدوار ڈاکٹر ذوالفقار بھٹی کے ہمراہ پریس کانفرنس کرتے ہوئے محسن شاہ نواز رانجھا نے کہا کہ ڈیتھ سرٹیفکیٹ کی بنیاد پر الیکشن ملتوی کیا گیا۔
محسن شاہنواز رانجھا کا کہنا ہے کہ چک 142 جنوبی کے رہائشی آزاد امیدوار صادق علی کینسر کے مریض تھے، این اے 83 ، این اے 85 میں آزاد امیدوار صادق علی کی وفات 2 جنوری کو ہوئی۔ اس موقع پر گفتگو کرتے ہوئے ڈاکٹر ذوالفقار نے کہا ہے کہ صادق علی کی وفات کا معاملہ اٹھا کر الیکشن رکوانے کی سازش کی گئی ہے۔
اس حوالے سے امام مسجد کفایت اللّٰہ کا کہنا ہے کہ صادق علی 2 جنوری کو فوت ہوئے نمازہ جنازہ 3 جنوری کو پڑھائی۔ واضح رہے کہ سرگودھا میں ایک امیدوار کی وفات کے باعث قومی اسمبلی کے دو حلقوں میں الیکشن ملتوی کر دیا گیا ہے۔
