Introduction of the Board:
The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Multan was established on 30 March 1968. It is located near Gol Bagh, Gulgasht Colony, and Multan.

Its establishment came into being after an ordinance of Government of West Pakistan, which was passed by the Assembly of Pakistan on 24^th of May during a meeting. In the beginning, Camp Office of Multan board started working in the Government Central Training College Lahore, in the middle of June, it was transferred to Multan headquarter.

Quetta, Kallat, Bahawalpur and Multan including Dera Ghazi Khan were included in the Multan Board. In 1968, Quetta and kallat started working as a separate sector, in 1978 Bahawal pur Board was established and started working separately. In 1982, Dera Ghazi Khan Board was separated from Multan Board.

Now Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education is working in every district on their own.

Introduction of Annual Result of HSSC-2 2018
The result of the Multan board was announced on 10^th of September 2018. Many of the Positions were taken by Girls belonging to the Poor Homes with less support of the parents. In the ceremony, of the Prize giving to the position holders, it was a great moment for parents to see their children getting prizes.

SSC-2/Matric annual Result 2018 12 september
The result of the Multan Matriculation or SSC-2 was announced on 12^th of September 2018. As many as 105,069 candidates appeared in the Multan examination Hall among which 86,784 were declared successful.

SSC-1/9^th Class Result 2018:
The result of 9^th Class was announced on 29^th of August 2018.
