First Phase of Pakistan 6th Population Census Started in 64 Districts مردم شماری
Pakistan 6th Population Census -Pakistan sixth housing and population census is being start today. Pakistan’s first census was carried out in 1951. The second census was held in 1961.While the third one was organized in 1971. The fourth and fifth census was held in 1991 and 1981 respectively. Today the sixth housing and population census is being held. It has been launched in all our Pakistan including four provinces, FATA, Gilgit Baltistan and Azad Jammu and Kashmir.
Today housing and population senses will be started in 64 districts of Pakistan they are 16 from Punjab, 15 from Balochistan, 14 from KPK and Fata, 9 from Sindh, 5 from AJK and 5 from GB. The whole process is divided into 2 phases. In first phase 74 districts are included while the remaining districts will be covered in second phase.
Government officials and soldiers of Pakistan Army will reach every home and will collect the data for census purpose. In first step they will mark each house and then will get data of each and every member of family. CNIC of each family head should be available at the spot. The first phase activities will remand from 15 march to 15 April 2017. While the second phase will be organize from 25 April to 25 May 2017.
