From NA-228 in general election of 2002, Nawab Muhammad Yousaf Talpur the candidate of Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) was succeeded by getting 58100 votes. Kishan chand Parwani the candidate of National Alliance (NA) gets second position by getting 48900 votes. In 2008, the candidate of Pakistan People’s Party (PPP), Nawab Muhammad Yousaf Talpur was succeeded by getting 75000 votes.
Muhammad Qasim Sumro an Independent candidate (IND) gets second position by getting 30000 votes. In 2013, the candidate of Pakistan People’s Party (PPP), Nawab Muhammad Yousaf Talpur was succeeded by getting 99700 votes.
Makhdoom Shah Mahmood Hussain Qureshi the candidate of Pakistan Tehreek e Insaaf (PTI) gets second position by getting 86100 votes.
