Sukkur is the district of Sukkur Division. According to census 2017, the current population of Sukkur District is 1,487,903 persons. Whereas in 1998 census, the total population was 931,387 people. There are five Talukas in Sukkur District i.e Sukkur City Taluka, New Sukkur Taluka, Pano Aqil Taluka, Rohri Taluka and Salehpat Taluka.
