Sanghar is the district of Shaheed Benazirabad Division. According to census 2017, the current population of Sanghar District is 2,057,057 persons.

Whereas in 1998 census, the total population was 1,319,881 people. There are six Talukas in Sanghar District i.

e Jam Nawaz Ali Taluka, Khipro Taluka, Sanghar Taluka, Shahdadpur Taluka,  Sinjhoro Taluka and Tando Adam Taluka.
