Ten days of mourning have been declared for the death of the Queen, after the death of the Queen of Great Britain, Prince Charles will become King Charles, and Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall will inherit the status of Queen.
The Queen’s funeral will be carried out under a special London Bridge operation. The Queen’s coffin will be transported by royal train to St Pancras railway station in London, from where it will be brought to Buckingham Palace.
Ten days later, the Queen’s funeral will be held at Westminster Abbey. A two-minute silence will be observed at the funeral, the Queen will be buried at the King George VI Memorial Chapel in Windsor.
On the day of the funeral, there will be a national holiday, London stock, banks and all important institutions will be closed. Earlier, according to a statement issued by Buckingham Palace, doctors had expressed concern about Queen Elizabeth’s health, and doctors had instructed her to keep her under observation.
Prince William, the Duke of Cambridge, rushed to the Queen on hearing of her unwellness, while Prince Charles also arrived.
