Punjab government has announced to hold local body elections on May 15, 2022
Punjab’s Local Government Minister Mahmood Rashid said that local body elections will be held on May 15. A special plan has been formulated to finalize the arrangements for local body elections.
He said that wards of local government are abolished after five years before each election. Repeated change of wards creates problems.
We are trying not to make any change in constituencies for 25 years.
Punjab is a big province. In the province, the local government elections will be held in two phases.
