Districts Bar Association Elections in Punjab Province
Punjab Districts Bar Association Elections 2017 are being held on next Saturday. Poling will be held on 14th January 2017.Different groups of Lawyers are contesting on different seats.
No.of Seats
There are 16 seats on which contest will be held in each district bar association. 10 seats are reserved for executive body while 6 others are for president, Wise President, Sectary general, Joins Secretary, treasurer and Library Secretary.
Multan District Bar Association Election 2017
In Multan District Bar Association Elections on 10 seats candidates are elected unopposed while on 6 seats polling will be held. The unopposed elected members of executive committee are Tasawur abbas Siddiqui, Javed Iqbal Malik, Hafiz Abdul Rauf Qadri, Riaz Hussain Rajwana, Salman Ilahi Qureshi, Syed Saleem husssain Naqvi, Taighoor-Ul-Konain, Muhammad Amjid Khan, Muhammad Taqi and Villait Ali Khan. Candidate for President are Yousif Zubair and Mumtaz Noor Tangra. Candidates For Wise President are Shamsa Noureen, Ijaz Ahmed, Abdul Sattar Malik and Mahr Haq Nawaz. Candidates for General Secratory are Chaudhry Muhammad Kamran, Anees Nehdi and Javed Ali Dogar. Candidates for Join Secratery are Saddaf Tirmazi, Mussarat Yasmin and Shehnaz Saeed Qazi. Candidates for Library Secratery are Allah Dad Khan, Sanobar Iqbal, Mahar Khurram Hussain And Nargis Siraj.
Candidates for finance Secratery are Khawaja Ijaz Hussain Siddiqui and Rabi Sagher. Chairman Election Board is Mukhtar Niazi.
District Bar Chakwal Elections
District Bar Association Chakwal annual elections are scheduled on 14th January.Two groups are in the field. Zaidi Group and Pasha Group has announced their candidates.
Chairman Election Board Pir Zada Noor Ali Shakoori Addvocate has issue final list. On president post Nayyar Abbas Awan and Chaudhry Amjid Hassan Ali are Contesting for Wise President Miss Shagufta Naaz has been elected Unopposed. Nisar Asghar and Chaudhry Jaleel-Ur-Rehman are contesting for General Secratery. While Muhammad Asif Malik and Hassan Abbas Jafri are contesting on seat of Join Secretary.
