Punjab Baldiati Intakhabaat for Mayors and Chairmen District wise
In Punjab elections for the Mayors and Chairmen of Municipal Corporations and Municipal committees is being held. Poling will be held on Thursday December 22, 2016. In some cities election has been declared unopposed winners are celebrating their success especially in Lahore Metropolitan corporation lord mayor and Deputy mayors has been elected unopposed. They all belongs to Pakistan Muslim League Noon in Rawalpindi municipal corporation mayors and deputy mayors has been elected unopposed also.
Burewala Municipal Committee
There is tough competition between two groups of PMLN. One group is backed by Chaudhry Nazir Ahmed Arrain and Chaudhry Irshad Ahmed Arrain.
Their candidate for chairman is Chaudhry Aashiq Arrain and Candidate for wise Chairman is Haji Iftakhar Ahmed Bhatti.
Other PMLN group is being lead by MNA Naseem Shah.
His Candidate for Chairman is Mian Abdul Muteen and Candidate for Wise Chairman is Rao Aziz Ur Rehman. Total Counslers in Baldia Burewala are 46 while both groups are declaring support of 25 Counselors each.
Rawalpindi Municipal Corporation
In Rawalpindi city father of the city (Mayor) has been elected unopposed. He is Sardar Muhammad Naseem khan while Deputy Mayor Chaudhry Tariq has been elected.
Sargodha Municipal Corporation and District Counsel
PMNL has nominated Asim Sher Maikan as Chairman District Council Sargodha while for wise Chairman Sarfraz Bhatti, Gulshan Sherazi and Mazhar Shah has been nominated. PTI, PMLQ and PPP has nominated Farakh Javed Ghuman as a chairman. While For wise chairman Faisal Mumtaaz Bhatti, Tasawur Hayyat and Tariq Mehmood Gujjar has been nominated.
In municipal Corporation Sargodha PMLN has nominated Malik Aslam Naveed as a Mayor and Bilal Khan as a Deputy Mayor.
Rahim Yar Khan Zila Counsils and Municipal Committees
Elections for Zilla council Rahim Yar Khan and 6 municipal Committees will be held on 22 December. While in Taranda Sawai Khan MC chairman and wise chairman has been elected unopposed. They all belongs to PMLN. Faisal Khan Abbasi has been elected chairman and Rao Ghulam Fareed as a wise chairman.
In District Council Rahim Yar Khan tough and very interesting competition will be held. The one to one contest is in between PMLN and PPP.
On score board People’s Party enjoy support of 79 members while PMLN is enjoying support of 81 UC Chairmen.
Candidate for chairman and wise chairman from PMLN are Sardar Azhar Khan Laghari, Makhdoom Mubeen Ahmed, Makhdoom Alambardar Hashmi and Chaudhry Naeem Shafique.
While people party has nominated Son of Makhdoom Ahmed Mehmood (Ali Mehmood) for Chairman District Rahim Yar Khan.
Municipal Committee Rahim Yar Khan
PMLN has nominated Mian IJaz Amir as Chairman and Abdul Lateef Bhatti as Wice Chairman.
Multan District Council and Municipal Corporation
In Multan District Council Election very interesting situation arised. When PMLN panel lead by Deewan Abbas Bukhari disqualified. Now two panels belong to PTI and PPP are in field. In Municipal Corporation Multan brother of Abdul Wahid Arrain Mr.
Naveed Arrain is candidate of Mayor Multan. He is nominated by PMLN chief Mian Nawaz Sharif.
District Council Khanewal
PMLN has given ticket of chairman zilla Council to Raza Sargana.
Zilla Council Vehari
PMLN has nominated Ghulam Mohaeuddin Chishti as a Zilla Council Chairman. Naeem Bhabha , Tehmeena Daultana, Sajid Mehdi Shah and Mian Saqib are supporting him.
District Council Lodhran
PMLN has given ticket of chairman to Rajan Sultan. He is Son in Law of Abdul Rehman Kanju.
Dera Ghazi Khan District Council
Abdul Qadir Khosa has been nominated chairman Zilla council. While Ahmed Khan Laghari and Javed Iqbal Qaisrani are candidates for wise chairman.
District Council Muzaffar Garh
PMLN has nominated Umer Gopang for Chairman Zilla Council slot. He is grandson of MNA Aashiq Gopang.
District Council Rajanpur
PMLN has nominated Abdul Aziz urf Juggan Khan for Chairman Zilla Council Rajanpur.
