Punjab 1st Phase LB Elections in 17 Districts – ECP Announced the Local Body Road Map
The election commission of Pakistan (ECP) has announced the first phase of local body elections in Punjab province. The polling date will be 29 May 2022 (Sunday).
While Phase-I polls will be held in the seventeenth district of Punjab. The list and names of districts are given below:
Dera Ghazi Khan Division Complete ( 4 Districts)
Multan Division Partially (2 Districts)
Bahawalpur Division Partially (1 District)
Sahiwal Division Partially (2 Districts)
Sargodha Division Partially (1 District)
Gujranwala Division Partially (4 Districts)
Rawalpindi Division Partially (2 Districts)
Faisalabad Division Partially (1 District)

The decision has been made in a meeting of ECP. The said meeting was headed by Chief Election Commissioner Mr. Sikandar Sultan Raja.
