Annual Public Holidays Notification 2023
The Federal Government of Pakistan, Cabinet Division has released details of holidays in 2023, according to which there will be 16 public or Gazzeted holidays and 22 optional holidays next year. The said circular was issued on Friday, 23rd December 2022 in Islamabad.
According to details, there will be 3 public holidays including Kashmir Day on February 5 and Pakistan Day on March 23, Labor Day on May 1, and Eid-ul-Fitr on April 22 to 24.
Besides, there will be 3 holidays on June 29 and 30 and July 1, Eid-ul-Azha on July 27 and 28, 2023, Ashura Muharram, and Independence Day on August 14, 2023. On September 28, 2023, Eid Milad-ul-Nabi ï·º will be a public holiday.
According to Cabinet Division, November 9, 2023, will be Iqbal Day, December 25, 2023, Quaid-e-Azam Day, and Christmas, and December 26, 2023, will be a public holiday after Christmas for Christian employees.
