ECP announced the delimitations of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa assembly constituencies located in the district Swat on 5th August 2022. After the KPK assembly dissolution in January 2023, Election Commission announced the general elections for the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa assembly.

PK 8 Matta, Kabal Tehsil Areas

There is a total of 7 Provincial Assembly seats in the district of Swat. PK-8 is the sixth MPA Seat. The partial Matta and Kabal Tehsils of the district of Swat areas lie in this constituency.
