Today Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Government is starting work on the long awaited Metro Bus Service in Peshawar city. The foundation stone will be lay down by the chief minister of KPK Mr.
Pervaiz Khattak. IN Pakistan this modern bus service already running in Lahore, Rawalpindi/Islamabad and Multan.
The PTI’s chairman Imran Khan had criticized the said projects launched by PMLN’s Punjab Government. Now his (PTI) Govt in KPK is working on the same project with change of name and at much higher cost.

- Length of Route is 26 Kilometers
- 300 AC Buses
- 8 Feeder Routes
- Cost of Project is 57 billion rupees / 480 million dollors. Loan from Asian Bank is 49 billion Rupees.
- Estimated passengers 5 lac daily.
