Pakistan’s squad for FIFA World Cup qualifier against Jordan

Pakistan football team head coach Stephen Constantine finalized the squad for the FIFA World Cup qualifier against Jordan.

Mohammad Fazal, a footballer of Pakistani origin from Denmark, has been included in the team for the first time, while Isa Sulaiman has also returned to the team.

The FIFA World Cup Qualifier match between Pakistan and Jordan will be held in Islamabad on March 21, for which the training camp of local potential players of the team is going on in Lahore.

The final squad will also include local and dual-citizen Pakistani footballers, with Denmark-based Mohammad Fazal, who plays for Swedish football club Nordech United, selected to represent Pakistan for the first time.

Muhammad Fazal has played for Denmark’s age group team, Isa Suleiman will also return to the team, but the chances of British Adil Nabi, who recently acquired Pakistani citizenship, are unlikely to be included in the final squad.

Sources say that Otis Khan is also suffering from injury and his inclusion in the squad is also uncertain.

Sources say that Pakistan’s final squad for the match against Jordan will be announced in a day or two.
