Shaheed Benazirabad is the district of Shaeed Benazirabad Division. Its old name was Nawab Shah. According to census 2017, the current population of Shaheed Benazirabad District is 1,612,847 persons.
Whereas in 1998 census, the total population was 1,102,584 people. There are four Talukas in Shaheed Benazirabad District i.
e Daur Taluka, Nawabshah Taluka, Kazi Ahmad Taluka and Sakrand Taluka.
