Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has ordered the re-counting of votes in NA-97 Faisalabad. The votes will be recounted at Technical High School Peoples Colony Faisaislabad. Agents of all candidates are expected to be present at the occasion.
Faisalabad: Notification of recount of votes in NA 97 Tandlianwala issued
Recounting of votes was ordered in Faisalabad Constituency NA 97 Tandlianwala. According to the notification issued in this regard, the returning officer of NA 97 has issued notices to all the candidates.
It said that the recount will be held tomorrow at 11 a.m. at the Government Technical High School People’s Colony.
Independent candidate backed by PTI Mr. Saadullah Baloch was successful from NA-97. While PML-N’s candidate Ali Gohar Baloch remained at econd position.

In NA 97 Tandlianwala, After Recounting of votes, PMLN’s candidate has defeated PTI’s backed candidate Saadullah Baloch. Now the winner is PML-N’s candidate former MNA Ali Gauhar Baloch. The 9474 votes have been rejected.
Ali Gohar Baloch has won this MNa seat with 3153 votes.
NA 97 Recounting Ssecond Day will continue today on Third day 29 Feb 2024
On Wednesday the second day of votes recounting contine in NA-97 Tandlianwala Faisalabad. There are total thre hundreds and fourty-one polling stations. the Re-Counting on two hundreds and Twenty-Five Polling Stations has been completed. Today on Thursday, February 29 the process will re-start again.
Till yesterday, the PMLN’s candidate Ali Gouhar Baloch was leading.
- Total Polling Stations = 341
- Recounting completed = 225
- Remaing polling stations = 116
The Final Result is expected to be announce today surely.
