In GE Election 2013 the constituency of NA 90 Jhang contest was between following candidates of PMLN, PTI, Deeni Mohaz, Independent and PPPP. Sahibzada Muhammad Nazir was Independent Candidate. He got 52400 votes. Saima Akhtar Bharwana was candidate of Pakistan Muslim League (N). He received 41900 votes. While at third position Maolana Muhammad Asif Moavia Sial of Mutahida Deeni Mahaz obtained 38600 votes. Saleem Mehmood Kamlana Sial of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf obtained 1900 votes. Abdul Qudoos Awan of Pakistan People’s Party Parliamentarians obtained 220 votes. Thus winner MNA was Sahibzada Muhammad Nazir Independent.

This constituency is strong hold of Gaddi Nasheen of darbar Bahoo Sultan (sahibzada group). In 2013 election election Sahibzada Muhammad Nazir sultan won this seat on independent status. While PMLN’s ticket holder Mrs. Saima Akhtar Bharwana lost this election. She remained winner in 2000 and 2018. While Asif Moavia Sial haas also strong following. He grabed religious votes. In general election 2018 strong contest is expected between Asif Moavia Sial, PPP, PMLN, and PTI. PTI and PMLN are busy in planning. While PPPP is also fluxing their muscles. The religious voters will play an important role in the final verdict.
