By-election schedule released on vacant seat of Amir Liaquat Hussain
NA 245 Karachi By Election Schedule 2022. After the death of Amir Liaquat, the Election Commission released the schedule of the by-election for his vacant seat in NA-245. According to the Election Commission, Syed Nadeem Haider has been appointed Returning Officer for NA-245.
Nominations for NA-245 can be submitted till June 24, while polling will be held on July 27.
It may be recalled that Amir Liaquat Hussain passed away on June 9, he was elected Member Assembly for the first time on the MQM ticket and was a member of the National Assembly from 2002 to 2007.
In 2018, Dr. Aamir Liaqat Hussain was elected a member of the National Assembly on a PTI ticket.
