Yesterday famous religious scholar Maolana Sami ul Haq has died in Rawalpindi. He was killed by unknown persons. Mr. Sami ulhaq was living in his residence at Bahria Town Pindi.
Mr. Sami ul has was famous as the “Father of Taliban” Lot of leaders and workers of Taliban has completed their religious education from the Madrassah of Maolana Sami ul Haq. Jamia Haqqania is located in Akora Khattak District Nowshera in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa,

Unidentified attackers jumped into the house of the Maulana at around 06:30 PM.
They entered his bedroom located on first floor and stabbed into his chest and shoulders leaving him injured critically. He was more than 81 years old
Maulana was rushed to Safari Hospital of Bahria Town but in vain…

Maulana Sami-ul-Haq left his house in the afternoon with his driver and personal assistant Ahmed Shah Haqqani to address a public meeting. However, he returned home at 6pm due to the roads blockage in the twin cities. The sources said the Maulana asked his PA to go to market to bring food for him and went to his room to take rest.
