Makka Hajj Metro Mashaer Train Detail Information
Mashaer metro train is only for the Hajj season. Initially, it was launched in 2010 for the Hajj session 1431 AH (2010 AD), The aim of this train is to reduce the congestion of traffic between Mina, Muzdalifah, and Arafat.
Mashaer train is a metro train in Makkah city, which runs only 7 days a year.
Thus it serves only Hajj pilgrims during the Hajj period.
These trains have the highest capacity of any metro in the world.
Mashaer train is scheduled for more than 1000 trips with 17 trains, Each train has 12 air-conditioned carriages, and Each carriage has 5 doors for boarding and alighting 250 passengers from each carriage.
