In general election of 2002 Shahid Abdul Aziz candidate of “Motahida Mujles.e.Amal”(MMA) won the election and got 31300 votes and defeat Masood Sharif Khatak candidate of “Pakistan Peoples Party”(ppp) by 13600 votas, Rehmat Salaam candidate of “Pakistan Muslim League Non”(PMLN) by 18000 votes, Imran Ahmed Khan Niazi leader of “Pakistan Tahreak.e.Insaaf”(PTI) by 21400 votes and Ajmal Khan “Independent candidate”(IND) by 21900 votes.

In general election of 2008 Mufi Ajmal Khan candidate of “Mutahida Mujlis.e.Amal”(MMA) won the election and got 28400 votes and defeat Shamsul Rehman Khatak candidate of “Pakistan Muslim League Non”(PMLN) by 26400 votes, Muhammad Ayub Khan Khattat candidate of “Pakistan Muslim League Quaid.e.Azam”(PMLQ) by 26900 votes, Nawabzada Mohsin Ali Khan independent candidate(IND) by 27400 and Sher Nawaz Khattak candidate of “Awami National Party”(ANP) by 33600 votes.

In general election 2013 NASIR KHAN KHATTAK candidate of “Pakistan Tehreek.e.Insaf”(PTI) won the election and got 51400 votes and defeat REHMAT SALEEM KHATTAK candidate of “Pakistan Muslim League Non”(PMLN) by 21600 votes, SHAH ABDUL AZIZ candidate of “Mutagida Deen.e.Mdaris”(MDM) by 2200 votes, MASOOD SHARIF KHAN KHATTAK independent candidate (IND) by 35800 votes and MUHAMMAD SARDAR candidate of “Jamiat.e.Ulama Islaam Fazal.ur.Rahman”(JUIF) by 28200 votes.
