Jahangir Tareen’s announcement of separation from politics
جہانگیر خان ترین نے سیاست چھوڑ دی
IPP Chairman Jahangir Tareen has announced his retirement from politics. In his statement, he says that he has decided to resign as the Chairman of the Stability Pakistan Party.
Jahangir Khan Tareen expressed good wishes for the members of the Stabilization Pakistan Party. In his statement, he said that he thanked those who supported him in the elections and congratulated his opponents on their success.
Jahangir Tareen Defeated
Jahangir Tareen contested from two National Assembly seats in Election 2024 and was defeated in both. From NA 149 Multan 2, he was defeated by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI)-backed independent candidate Aamir Dogar. From constituency NA 155 Lodhran 2, he was defeated by Siddique Khan Baloch of Muslim League (N) with a clear margin.
استحکام پاکستان پارٹی (آئی پی پی ) کے چیئرمین جہانگیر ترین نے سیاست سے علیحدگی کا اعلان کردیا۔
اپنے بیان میں انکا کہنا ہے کہ استحکام پاکستان پارٹی کے چیئرمین کی حیثیت سے مستعفی ہونے کا فیصلہ کیا ہے۔ جہانگیر خان ترین نے استحکام پاکستان پارٹی کے اراکین کےلیے نیک خواہشات کا اظہار کیا۔ اپنے بیان میں انہوں نے کہا کہ جن لوگوں نے انتخابات میں حمایت کی ان کا شکریہ ادا کرتا ہوں، کامیابی پر اپنے مخالفین کو مبارک باد دیتا ہوں۔
جہانگیر ترین نے الیکشن 2024 میں قومی اسمبلی کی دو نشستوں سے حصہ لیا اور وہ دونوں میں ہی شکست کھاگئے۔ این اے 149 ملتان 2 سے انہیں پاکستان تحریک انصاف (پی ٹی آئی) کے حمایت یافتہ آزاد امیدوار عامر ڈوگر سے شکست ہوئی۔ حلقہ این اے 155 لودھراں 2 سے انہیں مسلم لیگ (ن) کے صدیق خان بلوچ نے واضح مارجن سے شکست دی۔

I would like to thank everyone who supported me in this election and want to offer my congratulations to my opponents. I have immense respect for the will of the people of Pakistan. Therefore, I have decided to resign from my position as Chairman IPP and step away from politics altogether. My gratitude to all the members of IPP.
I wish them the absolute best. By the Grace of Allah, I will continue to serve my country to the best of my ability in a private capacity.
May the next few years see Pakistan prosper IA.
