Former federal minister and leader of PMLN Mr. Gohar Ayub will join PTI  after a week. While his son Umar Ayub will also accompanied with him. By-Election NA 19 Haripur August 2015

In the month of August 2017, by election was held in this area. The National assembly halqa was NA-19 Haripur. In this election PMLN beat PTI with huge margin. The polling was held on Sunday, 16th august 2015. The candidates were from PML-N Mr. Babar Nawaz and from PTI Raja Amir Zaman. PTI got only 75000 votes, While PMLN received 122000 votes. Thus PMLN win this great contest with the lead of almost 47000 of votes.

Why Gohar and Umar Ayub is Quieting PMLN?

PMLN did not gave party ticket to the Umar Ayyub Khan in by poll. While in 2013 general election he was candidate of PMLN. This showed the sympathy of Mian Nawaz sharif toward Babar Nawaz Khan. Now again general election year is approaching and Gohar Ayub and his son were not seeing their space in PMLN. So they decided to quit the party and join Tehreek e Insaf.
