According to a report published in Al Jazeera, Sun Riser Hyderabad bowler Tharangarasu Nitrajan has been named the first ‘Corona Positive’ player in the Indian Premier League.

According to the report, Nitrajan and six of his close associates in Sun Riser Hyderabad, including all-rounder Vijay Shankar, have been left out of the squad to face the Delhi Capitals in the T20 tournament at the Dubai International Stadium today.
A spokesman for the Hyderabadi team said Nitrajan, team manager Vijay Kumar, physiotherapist J Shyam Sundar, Dr Anjana Venen, logistics manager Toshar Kehdkar and net bowler Periyasme Ganesa have been quarantined.
It may be recalled that the IPL has been re-launched in Dubai from Sunday after a five-month hiatus due to the Corona devastation in India.
