Introduction of the Board:
Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Rawalpindi established in October, 1977. Its offices have been located earlier on 6th road, Satellite Town Rawalpindi but now the location has changed and got shifted to newly constructed campus at Morgah near Attock Refinery Rawalpindi in March 2013.

The Total budget of the Rawalpindi Board is Rs.500 Crore and there are about 530 employees working in the Rawalpindi board

Intro Annual Result of HSSC-2 2018
The Intermediate result of HSSC-2 was announced on 10^th of September 2018. Girls of the Rawalpindi dominated, by gaining, higher percentage, as compared to, those of the boys.

SSC-2/Matric annual Result 2018
The result of the SSC-II/Matric was announced on 12^th of September 2018. Same as, that of, the intermediate, girls were able to secure more marks percentage than the Boys.

SSC-1/9^th Class Result 2018
The result of the SSC-1/9^th class was announced on the 20^th of August 2018.
