Players cannot be locked in hotel rooms for 14 days: Nazemul Hassan
Bangladesh Cricket Team Refused 14 Days Quarantine for Sri Lanka Tour
DHAKA – Bangladesh Cricket Board President Nazemul Hassan has sent a clear message to Cricket Sri Lanka that a tour is not possible on its terms as players cannot be locked in hotel rooms for 14 days, in which case the players have to practice. There will be very little time for those who have not been able to play cricket for 6 months.
Nazmul Hassan told the media yesterday that BCB officials were surprised by the conditions set by the Sri Lankan board before the Tigers’ tour and that it was not possible to make the tour possible under these protocols because of the coronavirus.
The conditions being set are very different from the expectations of the BCB and the laws in force in other countries.
