Vice president of Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PMLN) Mrs. Maryam Nawaz Sharif is departing for Azad Jammu and Kashmir today. She will leave Islamabad for the Muzaffarabad for the first public meeting, The elections in the AJK are being held on 25th July.
A strong contest is being expected between three main political parties:
- Pakistan Muslim League (N)
- Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf
- Pakistan Peoples Party
Bilawal Bhutto Zardari the chairman of PPP has already started public gatherings in the region. While Prime Minister of Pakistan Mr.
Imran Khan Niazi has also scheduled for three big Jalsa e aam in the Muzaffarabad, Bagh, and Mirpur City.

Mrs. Maryam Nawaz is a good speaker and crowd puller of PMLN, She is the daughter of Ex. Prime Minister of Pakistan, Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif. In the last two years, she has emerged as the main opposition leader of Pakistan.
She is strong critics of the present ruling party of Pakistan The PTI and its chief Imran Khan.
