Malik Asif Rafique Rajwana – Potential Candidate in NA-149 Multan from PMLN
Malik Asif Rafique Rajwana is son of governor Punjab Muhammad Rafiq Rajwana. He is very relented and attractive personality. Now a days he is busy in preparation to contest the national assembly election form Multan city. He has targeted the areas of NA-149 Multan-II. Ex. member national assembly Mr. Shaikh Tariq Rasheed is also trying to became candidate of this halqa from Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PMLN). But final decision will be made by Mian Muhammad Nawaz the president of PML-N.
Malik Asif Rafique Rajwana is residence of Ameer Abad near chungi number 7. He has large following in the area.
Two days ago large numbers of banners and posters has been displayed by the Asif Rafiq Rajwana.
In these poster he has been pointed as MNA NA-149 Multan (Insha-Allah). These poster has been pasted along LMQ road near chungi No.7, Chungi No.8 and Kachehry chowk Multan.
Areas of NA-149 Multan
NA-149 started from Aziz hotel chowk near chah Boharwala and it covers old city areas (city between gates). which has hub of Urdu speaking mohajars. Chungi No.9, Qadeeriabad, Gulgasht Colony and Rasheedabad areas are also included in this constituency. Hassan abad near chowk Kumharanwala is last unions of NA-149 constituency.
NA 149 Election result 2008, 2013 and 2015
In 2008 general election this seat was won by Makhdom Javed Hashmi, who was candidate from PMLN. After resignation of Javaid Hashmi by election held and again Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz won this election. But elected MNA was Sh. Muhammad Tariq Rashid this time.
In 2013 Javed Hashmi won this seat on the ticket of Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI).
he defeated PMLN’s candidate Shaikh Tariq Rasheed. In 2014 Javed Hashi again resigned from the MNA seat.
he also this time quit PTI.
By election in NA-149 held again in 2015. This time all major canddites were contesting as independent including Malik Amir Dogar (backed by PTI) and Javaid Hashmi (Backed by PMLN). Malik Aamir Dogar won the by poll and elected MNA.
Later he joined PTI.
