Asia Cup Sri Lanka 2022 – Expected Schedule
Sri Lanka has received the green signal from the Asian Cricket Council (ACC) to host the 2022 Asia Cup. According to foreign media reports, the Asia Cup will be held in Sri Lanka as per the schedule.
The event will be played from August 27 to September 11, 2022.
The Asia Cup qualifying round will start on August 21, while traditional rivals Pakistan and India will play on August 28. The official schedule will be announced soon.
Pakistan, India, Sri Lanka, Afghanistan and Bangladesh are in the main round, while teams from the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Nepal, Oman and Hong Kong will play in the qualifying round.
It should be noted that the Asia Cup to be held in Sri Lanka will be played in T20 format.
