Asian Cricket Council (ACC) has announced the schedule of Asia Cup 2022, the tournament is likely to have two matches between Pakistan and India before the final. The Asia Cup 2022 will be played in the T20 format from August 27 to September 11 in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) hosted by Sri Lanka.

In the event, the teams of Pakistan and India are included in Group A where the third qualifier team will join them, while Group B includes Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Afghanistan. In the first stage, Singapore, United Arab Emirates (UAE), Hong Kong and Kuwait will face each other for a place as qualifying teams.

According to the schedule, the opening match will be between Sri Lanka and Afghanistan on August 27, while on August 28, Pakistan and India teams will compete in Dubai, while on September 2, the Pakistan team will compete with the qualifier team.

After the first stage, 2, 2 teams from both groups will make it to Super Four in which each team will play 3 matches. The match between Pakistan and India in Super Four is expected on September 4 while the final of the event will be held on September 11.
