Profile Nafisa Shah MNA NA-208 Khairpur

Nafisa Shah was born on 20^th of January 1968. She is the daughter of Syed Qaim Ali Shah. Her education qualification is B.A LLB, from the oxford university. She has done doctorate in Social and Cultural anthropology from the University of Oxford. She is social worker by profession. Her total income of 2017 was Rs.18,38,971 and her source of income was from the salary. She paid total income tax of Rs.3,52,927.
She has served Khairpur district as Nazim from 2001 to 2007. She was elected to the National Assembly of Pakistan on a reserved seat for Women as a candidate of Pakistan peoples Parrty (PPP) from sindh in the general elections 2008. She has been vice president of the Commonwealth Parliamentarian Association. She also acted as a head of the National Commission for the Health Department. In 2011, she was awarded a Ph.D degree by the University of Oxford for her study of honour Killing in Sindh.
In 2018, she was elected as the candidate of Pakistan Peoples party (PPP) from the constituency NA-208 Khairpir.  Nafisa Shah got 107847 votes and defeated Syed Ghous Ali Shah who was a candidate of Grand Democratic Alliance.
