By-Elections Schedule 20 MPA Seats of Punjab Assembly – ECP Notification 25th May 2022
ELECTION COMMISSION OF PAKISTAN NOTIFICATION
Islamabad. the 25th May 2022
No.F.8(5)(2022-Cord.-(1) In pursuance of the provisions of Section 57 of the Elections Act, 2017 (Act No. XXXIII of 2017). read with Section 102 and clause (4) of Artide 224 of the Constitution of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, the Election Commission hereby calls upon the electors of the under-mentioned Constituencies, which have become vacant due to De-Notification of members of Provincial Assembly of Punjab and specifies in relation thereto the following dates for Bye-Elections:
Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) dissident members of the Punjab Assembly vacancy seats election schedule was announced. According to the Election Commission, by-polls for 20 seats of the Punjab Assembly will be held on July 17, nomination papers will be submitted from June 4 to 7, scrutiny of nomination papers will be held on June 11.
The Election Commission has said that the Election Tribunal will decide on the appeals by June 21.
The nomination papers can be withdrawn till June 23 while the election symbols will be issued to the candidates on June 24.
In this regard, the ECP said that PP 7 Rawalpindi, PP 83 Khushab, PP 90 Bhakkar, PP 97 Faisalabad, PP 125, PP 127 Jhang, PP 140 Sheikhupura, PP 158, PP 167, p. PP 168, PP 170 Lahore, PP 202 Sahiwal, PP 217 Multan, PP 224, PP 228 Lodhran, PP 237 Bahawalnagar, PP 272, PP 273 Muzaffargarh, PP 282 Layyah and PP 288 DG Khan will have a by-election.
It may be recalled that the Election Commission had de-seated 25 Punjab Assembly members of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf.
Among the de-seated 5 members belong to Aleem Khan group, 4 members belong to Asad Khokhar group, while 16 members belong to Tarin Khan group.

Dissociated members in the Punjab Assembly are Raja Sagheer Ahmed, Malik Ghulam Rasool Sanga, Saeed Akbar Khan, Mohammad Ajmal, Aleem Khan, Nazir Chauhan, Mohammad Amin Zulqarnain, Malik Noman Langarial, Mohammad Salman, Zawar Warraich, Nazeed Ahmed Khan, Fida. Hussain, Zahra Batool, Mohammad Tahir, Ayesha Nawaz, Sajida Yusuf, Haroon Imran Gul, Azma Kardar, Malik Asad, Ejaz Masih, Sabteen Raza, Mohsin Ata Khan Khosa, Mian Khalid Mahmood, Mehr Mohammad Aslam and Faisal Hayat.
