Foreign cricketers withdraw from Kashmir Premier League over the Indian threat
All the foreign cricketers participating in the tournament withdrew from the Kashmir Premier League due to threats from the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI).
According to sources, the league organizers said that the tournament will be held with Pakistani players from August 6.
In this regard, the sources said that the foreign players were threatened by the Indian board and it was said that they would close the doors of Indian cricket, including the Indian Premier League (IPL), if they went to Kashmir.
Sources further said that after the threat, the foreigners apologized for participating in the tournament.
According to sources, the players’ agent was threatened by a senior BCCI official.
