In Punjab province, there are nine board of intermediate & secondary education (BISEs). Lahore is one of them. Others are :- BISE Gujranwala Board, BISE Rawalpindi Board, BISE Sargodha Board, BISE Faisalabad Board, BISE Sahiwal Board, BISE Multan Board, BISE D.G.Khan Board and BISE Bahwalpur Board. Sahiwal Board has been created after all of them.
